The July 7th memorial for Michael Jackson was somber and surprisingly intimate. As fans shouted "Long live the King," the tribut at the Staples Center brought his family and friend together for a cathartic celebration of the singer's tragically unfinished life. Jackson's very presence in the room, is what took it from just a televised event and made it a mark in history. Emotionpoured out of all who were there (including the lucky 17,500 ticket winners). Top performing artists and others, such as Mariah Carey, Usher, Jennifer Hudson and Jermaine Jackson expressed their deep emothion for Michael through songs ans heartful words.
